【 多倫多・2024年10月21日】- 多倫多香港獅子會（Toronto Hong Kong Lions Club）每年一度的慈善籌款晚宴於2024年10月 12日晚上在多倫多萬錦市希爾頓温泉套房酒店(Hilton Suites Toronto-Markham Conference Centre & Spa) 隆重舉行。今年首度加入「全城好獅音」慈善歌唱比賽（The Good Voice Charity Singing Contest）總決賽同場舉行，令現場觀眾盡興而歸。

多倫多香港獅子會首次主辦歌唱比賽節目，目的除了增加籌款晚宴的娛樂性之外，同時亦希望凝聚本地華人歌唱愛好者，提供一個大型場地的公開比賽，讓參賽者有機會在大型現場觀眾面前表演，增加與現場樂隊表演的經驗；同時亦希望給予華人在海外亦有發揮歌唱潛能的機會。

參賽者在初選入圍後，均有不同的導師教授、分享歌唱技巧與舞台演出的心得。而入到最後五強的幾位參賽者，更力獲得著名歌手與及資深音樂老師曾路得小姐親自點評並教授歌唱技巧。另外音樂指揮家及全球華人流行音樂總會副會長Felix Mak亦親自指導最後五外參賽者現場表演歌唱技巧。一眾導師及教練的指導令參賽者獲益良多。

「全城好獅音」慈善歌唱比賽最後由加拿大出生的Patrick Ma脫穎而出，憑一首U Got It Bad 加上跳躍的舞台表演，成為當晚金獎得主。而Patrick Ma 將會得到一首由加拿大廣東歌及填詞協會（Canada Canton Pop & Lyric Writers Association CCPLWA）贊助錄製一首為他度身訂造的新歌。 Patrick Ma賽後感動，這是他第一次參加公開的歌唱比賽，本來抱著試試自己實力和學習心態，沒想過自己的努力和家人的支持，成就了今日舞台上的成績。他表示特別要多謝媽媽對他的支持和朋友的鼓勵。

Toronto Hong Kong Lions Club (THKLC) was formed on November 3, 1986 in Toronto. Under the auspices of Lions Clubs International, 54 Chartered Members set out to meet the challenges of Lionism by answering to appeals for humanitarian service, disaster relief and vocational training. Most of the members have come from Hong Kong with diverse backgrounds including in consumer and retail businesses, manufacturers of industrial products, computers, electronic equipment, garments, food products, insurance agents, restaurants, and real estate developers, etc. There are also members from professional disciplines such as financial advisors, accountants, architects, doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc.

to unite

the clubs in the bonds of friendship good fellowship and mutual understanding.

and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world.

a forum for the open discussion in all matters of public interest; provided of that partisan politics and sectarian religion shall not be debated by club members.
